What about woowanted? up: Woowanted is a web application that allows you to store contact sheets for your friends, acquaintances, stores and others, in a friendly, orderly and durable way.
How I create an account? up: In the top you can see "Create an account", there you have to fill the web form and you'll receive a confirmation E-mail for you authentication.
What happen if I forget my user or password? up: No problem, from the "Sign up" section, you will see a link with "forget your user or password", click here and send us your email account. We will see your user and a new random password, after that, you can change your new password.
How I create a contact? up: You will look a "Create" button at the top menu, after you login, will appear show a form for you fill the contact data.
How I sort my contacts? up: Each time you create a contact tab, you can select a category if it not exist one, also you can create categories with the "+" button. After you assign the contacts to different categories, you will see a column in the right side (or a list menu in mobile devices) with the categories list to select one.
What is the difference between a public contact and a private contact? up: When you create a contact tab, you can choose private or public. Your private contacts will be only visible for you, otherwise, when you select a public contact, you allow your friends see them listed with their name. Generally, the stores or companies can be make as public, so these contacts keep accessible from the finder and the user profile.
It will my profile visible? up: Your profile will keep hidden for other users by default, to less you want make it visible.
What is the meaning of popular in my zone? up: In the home appears a list with your most popular users of your location.
What is the meaning do you know them? up: In the home appears a list with three users that share them with you a lot of contacts; in this way, the application intuitively finds people you can to know, so you can add them as contacts.
Can I add other users as my contacts? up: Of course, for that you may send them a contact request when their profiles are private or only add them when their profiles are public. If they are private, you may wait they accept the request; when they accept, it add the contact your contact list, but that contact will be a mirror his self-profile and the data will be always updated.
What is the difference between my created contacts and my add contacts from a friend contact? up: In a visual and organization way none, but the contacts from friends keep them updated. When your friends change their profile, these contacts keep updated also. On the other hand, with these contact you can send and receive messages.
What is the difference between my public profile and my private profile? up: If you profile is public, any other user will access this data.
What is the difference between a public contact and a private contact? up: Each you create a contact, it appears private by default; if you want can make it public, but remember that after this contact will be visible for your friends and they can add it. We recommend you set stores and companies as public no others.
How I organize my contacts? up: After to create a new contact, it will appear listed in the "Contacts" section (top menu). When you are creation it, you will see the second field, a select with different categories, if you have not categories created yet, you can be create them using the "+" button; it will add to listed automatically and it will keep selected by default. After that, when you access to the contact, you will see the column: "Category"; there will be a link with the category name, if you make click here, all will be listed with each contact. Also you can access each from the right column. If you want, you can create new empty categories, for this, make click in the "Create category +" button shown in the right side.
How I get my friend's contacts? up: From the contact-friend tab, you can see all your public contacts, whose you can get them, but you cannot see his private contacts. If you wish to have access to a private contact, you need to contact your friend.
How I search users and contacts? up: Both cases you may use same finder, it's a white bar on the site top. Once a time you start to write the name you want search, a smart box appears with the first results; these can be your city's users or any other place; also you can search your self-contacts. If you make click in "Search" or in the smart box bottom, you will access the pagination with all results. You can't access to contacts created by others users. When a user is private, you only can see his picture, name, city and country. If you want his contact, you have to ask his friendship.
Does Woowanted work in the mobile devices? up: Yes, the design and the functionalities work in all devices.
Does Woowanted have an APP for mobile devices? up: No, Woowanted is a web application.
Can I download my contacts to my mobile? up: Yes, from each tab, if you access from your device, you will see a download button on the top. Make click there (or touch from you device) and it download a file for install in your mobile contact list.
Can I backup my contacts? up: Yes, if you look at the profile top, you'll see an item "Download my contacts", make click (or touch from your device) for download a Excel file with all your contacts. We recommend you make a backup for safe your information.
Do I have to pay sometime? up: Woowanted is a free tool, but if in a moment leaves to be it, never will be deleted your created contacts.
Can I chatting, create notes, photo albums or other actions? up: No, our unique goal is give a place where to have your contacts orderly, friendly, and durable, but If you wish chatting, make new friends or find a couple, go for that flower to another garden :)
